Costco members receive free technical support for the lifetime of products. In addition, the manufacturer warranty is extended to two years on Televisions, Major Appliances and Computers (excluding Touchscreen Tablets) from the date the member received the merchandise.* See the manufacturer's warranty for details. The Costco Concierge Services warranty mirrors the manufacturer's warranty in the second year for televisions, major appliances and computers. Common exclusions are data backup and software replacement, physical damage, or liquid damage. Costco Concierge Services advises backing up your computer frequently.

If you are returning a desktop computer, please contact us and provide the Dell Order Number and the Service Tag for the computer. The Dell Order Number can be found on the Dell packing slip included with the computer system. The Service Tag can be found on a label attached to the CPU tower of a desktop system. It is a 7-character alphanumeric code that usually ends in ‘41,’ ‘51,’ or ‘61.’
If the system includes a separate monitor, please also provide the serial number and the Dell model number for the monitor. The monitor serial number can be found on the back of the monitor, usually at the bottom center. It is a long string that often begins with ‘CN.’ The monitor model number can normally be found on the front of the monitor. It is typically 4 digits followed by 2-3 letters (i.e. 1901FP).
